The buffet spread comprises both cold and hot delicatessen that is not only gives us the options to choose between what we like to eat with ease but it is also quite a big spread that is very delectable and scrumptious. Indulge in a scrumptious morning feast with porridge, bacon, sausages, smoked salmons, eggs, salads, fresh fruits, yogurts and more. Pair it together with a cup of tea, hot chocolate, fruit juice or even a cup of hot coffee!
Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day, it gives you the booster you need so that you have the strength to head out on your journey to explore Singapore or complete your work fast and swift. Therefore, it's important to have a scrumptious spread prepared right in front of us at least!

On the whole, I feel that the hotel has really awesome service and that the breakfast spread was quite good and definitely one of the better ones I've eaten at least. The rooms are relatively smaller than that of Novotel rooms, but I guess you pay for what you get. If you're interested in having a cozy room that's affordable and comfortable, I recommend that you should go for Hotel Mercure Singapore on Stevens, as it has almost the same facilities as Hotel Novotel on Stevens, and they share the same breakfast buffet place at the Wine Stone. However, the rooms are slightly different in size and design.
The bed is very comfortable and the pillows are just nice, not too firm nor too soft. I personally love the L-Shape sofa inside the room, as I can enjoy a cup of coffee while reading a book or completing my work on my laptop in the comfort one would need.

However, due to space constraint, a second chair is not possible within the room itself, which is a setback, as It would be great to sit down to have a chit-chat with a friend or loved ones over some drinks. This is actually a minute problem as I believe this is to cater to the masses out there, as everyone has a difference in preference, especially since chit-chatting with friends can be done at the hotel restaurants too, or even at the poolside.
The hotel room has most of the basic necessities we need, including a kettle, hangers, bedroom slippers, toiletries, iron, ironing board, cups, spoons, and glasses. Most of these are basic items that we usually need, but the ironing board and iron is a plus point for a superior room, as the iron and ironing board is usually only available in suites for the other hotels and sometimes you'll have to request for one usually if you really need it.
The only thing that I was disappointed in was that I didn't get to try out the lounge, as the lounge will only be ready early this year, but you'll still be able to enjoy amazing scrumptious delights directly within the hotel vicinity itself, especially there are 14 different dining options to choose from, and also a seafood supermarket that you can get your needs with ease.

As for the location wise, I must say that the hotel is strategically located at an area where most tourist and locals like me love to head to, which is none other than Orchard road, the shopping and food hub that one must not miss. This prime location gives us the flexibility we need to travel around with ease.
However, with all that being said, I believe that this hotel is a great candidate for a getaway with your family and friends to not only enjoy in comfort of the awesome service that Mercure on Stevens provides us with but also the convenience of having everything around within our midst that enables us to enjoy a pleasant stay while creating and capturing fond memories with people we cherish that we'll always want to keep!
