| King's Potong Ice Cream - The all new Black Sesame flavour is the latest edition to King's Potong Ice-cream series |
Asia is well-known as the home to a rich diversity of unique food cultures. King's Potong pays homage to its Asian Heritage with exotic fruits like durian and cempedak, and iconic drinks and desserts like teh tarik and red bean soup with coconut milk. I was surprised that the King's Potong has evolved so much over the years. I've never known that the "teh tarik" flavour existed till just recently. Evolution brings about curiosity and interest and I believe this is what F&N King's Potong aims to do.

King's Potong Signature Ice-Cream
Newly added flavors infused with Thailand's exotic fruits
Asia is home to a plethora of exotic flavors that have impressed the palates of many. King’s Potong pays homage to its Asian heritage, bringing two quintessential Asian flavors closer to home with the brand new King’s Potong Signature Thai Mango and King’s Potong Signature Coconut.
Mangoes are undeniably the ultimate fruit of the tropics. With the hundreds of cultivars available in the market, Thailand’s Oak-Rong mangoes emerge as favorites for many Thais.
Characterized by a deep groove along the edge of the fruits, Oak-Rong mangoes are prized for its sweet succulent flesh with alluring tropical scent. It is no wonder that many locals revere this cultivar as the king of all mangoes. It is also said that Oak-Rong mangoes are the perfect choice to make the ever-popular Khao Neow Mamuang (mango sticky rice), a signature dessert from a gamut of Thailand’s exotic delicacies.
On the other hand, Thailand, which has an abundance of Coconut is one of my personal favorites as it's a refreshingly sweet fruit filled with hydrating juices. It's also the fruit that most ancestors that live in the wild would pick and drink when drinking water was not obtainable many decades ago. The infusion of coconut meat into the classical Potong ice-cream is simply awesome. A generous portion of real, authentic fruit meat fills up this ice-cream, which makes this one of my favorite ice-cream that I'll look forward to whenever I am in need of something not so sweet but still refreshingly delicious.

The ever-popular Coconut flavor is also joining the King’s Potong Signature's range. It is made with fresh Thai coconut milk, and each bite is accompanied by a burst of flavors that is filled with a rich, creamy taste of the tropical fruit.
