The Champion Teamis none other than the team I've been spending most of my journey throughout N.E.mation! 10 with. I'm so proud of them as their hard work and efforts were paid off, especially after consistently going that extra mile to stay back to complete their animation video. They were always the last to leave the production studio at Nanyang Polytechnic. This is done so that they could perfect their production piece within that short span of three weeks.

I've never experienced such an amazing time with my teams even though it was just a short three weeks. I felt that they had really outdone themselves.
Duck Duck Glucose Their Smiles & Puns Never Fail To Make Me Laugh They showed me something that could never be learn from the books, which is the positivity and cheerful mindsets that they have shown consistently throughout this animation contest.
It was a great interesting exposure at the Top 40 Pitching at Nanyang Polytechnic;Ihad the chance to catch a glimpse on how the Pitchingwas conducted.
This group was one of the three that I managed to take a peek at. Their basis on social defense shows a great importance of the different cultures and identityofpeople. Equality amongraces and religionsare the utmost priority and the cakes is depicts perfectly that Singapore is the Perfect Cupcake: A cupcake that consists a perfectly mixed mixtureof different kinds of ingredients.

Their RAPwas indeed amazing and they deserved to be one of theTop 20 Teams of N.E.mation! 10this year.
Certain aspects that they have to improve on that washighlightedduring thepitch was that the rap was a little off their desired focus. It sounded more towards "Military Defense" instead of "Total Defense".
Moreover, the judges asked intuitive questionssuch as "If you were given more time, how will you work on the story?"
Their replies were that they will improve on the message that they were trying to deliver via the rap. They also mentioned that they would further develop their story line and make it more relatable to people.

Honestly speaking, their "RAP" was superbly interesting and unique. To me I personally feel that they're quite a strong team due to their unique choice of delivery. I believe that they might be able to compete among the Top 10 Finalist if they were to improve on certain loop holes that were mentionedby the judges.

Duck Duck Glucose I'm A Personal Poem Fanatic They Did A Great One! Their focus was to provide advises for the viewers and to help change the negative traits of people for the better. They were trying to introduce the eye in a better perspective in the sense that every single part of the eye plays an important role and it signifies something of Singapore too.

However, it was recommended by the judgesthat they should not focus on the "EyeLid" even though they meant it in a good way as it sounds exactly like "I-Lead" so that it encourages leadership.
I'm glad that they managed to got into the Top 20 Teams too. For the other teams pitching for the Top 10 Finalist, I wish you all the best and hope that your hard work over the weeks will be paid off. Even if you didn't enter the Top 10 Finalist or you aren't the winner of the N.E.mation! 10, I believe that it's the experience and the knowledge that you gain that matters the most.

N.E.mation!is a digital animation competition organised by Nexus for youths to express their thoughts on Total Defence. With the completion of the 9th season in February this year, the competition has proven highly successful, with more than 13,250 students participating since its inception in 2007.
With training and guidance, students with no prior experience in animation have been able to produce clips of broadcast quality that are viewed by more than 1.3 million audiences on both television and in cinemas across the island. Some of these clips have gone on to win awards in prestigious international animation festivals.

As our family does not own a car, we frequently use the MRT and public buses for our journeys around this little island we call home. Our efficient public transport systemmakes travelling convenient and comfortable. My family and I can get to our desired destinations for work and play in a breeze!

I am an eleven-year-old boy who loves Art. I may not be good in my studies but I think I am good in Art. I am studying in Anglo-Chinese School (Junior). I love collecting vehicles and I know a lot about cars! I also like fixing Lego toys, especially vehicles.

There are two parts. The first one shows Singapore in the 1960s and 1970s. Public transport was mainly the bus and the trishaw. Moving around flats, shophouses, National Theatre and even attap houses can be seen. The second one shows our present MRT train. With the journey it takes, modern architecture and more greenery can be seen.

As you see the picture, the buildings and the characters go in a chronological order through certain parts of history. This is to represent the journey we have been through and how far we have really come to achieve our goals to a better Singapore with the people that have helped us along the way.

I am Nur Amalia Bte Kamal and I used to live along Upper Bukit Timah Road. I was fascinated by the engineering feat just outside our building. I am currently in Year 5 in Raffles Institution Junior College and I study Fine Arts and Science. I enjoy drawing and painting. I like capturing the interesting happenings around me. I do not want to lose the uniqueness that Singapore offers, even if it is a simple bus-stop along a quiet road.

While traveling to school in the morning, my sleepy route at Upper Bukit Timah Road would be awakened with ever changing mega structures and gigantic machines. The construction of Bukit Panjang mega transportation infrastructure project is rapidly changing the landscape. Seamless connectivity between buses, MRT, LRT and highways promotes fast and smooth journey. It’s good to live in Singapore in the 21st century and cheers to SG50. My 4-panel painting is in acrylic.

EZ-Link will contribute $0.25 from every card sold to DAS, with an aim of raising a total of S$50,000 to provide financial assistance to students with dyslexia at the primary and secondary levels from non-MOE funded schools who do not receive MOE grants for DAS programmes. These funds will strengthen learning support to students unable to afford the programmes without financial support and help them access much-needed programmes such as literacy, mathematics, Chinese language and Speech and Drama Arts, to improve their skills in these areas.
