I've tried out a couple of truly wireless earphones and I've encountered the same issue of inaudibility when communicating over them under windy conditions. Therefore, it is superbly commendable that Plantronics added such an awesome WindSmart Technology" feature into this pair of earphones, which provides users with excellent noise cancellation on their voices; crisp and clear communication on the go is made possible even under harsh (windy) and noisy environments.
Plantronics BackBeat Pro 5100's Design, Quality & Cost
Plantronics BackBeat Pro 5100, available in black, comes with a reflective finish to the main button, surrounded by a matt black plastic main body. It is embossed with the official ‘PLT’ logo and comes with a set of black silicone earbuds, allowing you to easily choose the right suitable fit for your ear so that it seals perfectly. The earbuds are compact, unobtrusive and subtle, providing the maximum comfort and tight fit within your ears. This means that there is no bulky body jutting out and unwanted dangling components that might become a hindrance when working out with it; minimizing the probability of the earbuds being dislodged from your ears - less prone to losing them. The charging case is light, pocketable, and it's made out of sturdy plastic that opens only when the push button is depressed; minimizing the risk of losing the earbuds as compared to magnetic cases.

Every pair of earphones has its own limitations and not anyone product is perfect. With advances in technologies, there is an increasing trend of consumers prefer utilizing USB-C and wireless charging. In my personal opinion, I feel that it isn't a necessary feature to have as an ordinary micro-USB function pretty well on its own for charging. Most portable chargers and phones out there that utilizes micro-USB, which makes it all the more convenient to bring it out as I'll be able to charge multiple devices with just one cable as of now. I do not deny that it is definitely good to have wireless charging as an added feature but the technology as of now is too inefficient which is why we're better off using conventional cables instead. I understand that some of you guys out there may not agree with me, but I believe the earbuds serve its purpose well and the sound quality should be the major weighing factor on whether one should purchase the product instead.
Verdict: Should You Buy It? 8/10

My Verdict
TheJabra Elite Sport is not only specially made to cater to all of our needs, but it is also an amazing pair of portable wireless earphones that enables us to enjoy our favourite music tunes while we're exercising, be it in the gym, out in the open, or even at home, we no longer need to worry that the wireless earphones will be damaged by exercising with.
A normal earphone without being IP67 water-resistant certified might be susceptible to sweat, especially when we're working all for a long period of time. There is a higher likelihood of our sweat seeping into the device, which might cause the device to be rendered spoilt within a few usage, or if lucky, after a few months of using it.
I have tried out Jabra's earlier sports models, the Jabra Sport, which I didn't like using, as I personally felt that the wire connecting the left and right earphones together was quite annoying. My honest opinion on the Jabra Sport was that it was really fragile and the battery cover was flimsy. My friends who had similar earphones, had them replace a couple of times previously within the same warranty period. To me, It wasn't that fantastic initially and that the earphones always slipped out during exertion, especially when running, as the cables will tend to be pulled to one side when running.

From the observed feedbacks, I've seen online, along with my own personal hands-on experience on the device, the external microphone is great but it can pick up a lot of ambient noise, which sometimes makes it hard for us to hear what a person is saying. However, weighing out safety vs difficulty chatting, I would definitely go with the former, as it's better to be safe than sorry, so it's definitely a great feature to have.
