A 10-Tastic Celebration as Luge turns 10!
It has been an amazing decade of growth for Skyline Luge Sentosa.
On 26th August 2005, their journey started with just 191 luge rides recorded for that day.
Last November, Skyline Luge Singapore achieved their 10 millionth-ride milestone and today they have close to 4,000 luge rides zooming down their trails every day.

To Be Honest, I wasn't aware that Singapore had such an amazingly fun activity at Sentosa. But, I feel that it's an activity that I'll definitely head back for "Round 2" or even "Round 3" and so on, as it's something unique, fun and enjoyable that could be done either with my family or friends.
Most Importantly, trust me like what their slogan says "Once Is Never Enough" as you'll yearn for more rides, one after another.

To mark their 10th birthday, Skyline Luge is hosting a 10-Tastic! Carnival from 21st to 30th August 2015, packed with exciting activities such as games, caricature and balloon-sculpting stalls, magic performances as well as popcorn and exclusive Luge 10th Anniversary Dticker Tattoo Giveaways, for all guests. Join us between 2.00pm and 6.00pm on weekdays and 10.30am to 2.30pm on weekends.

Feels Like I'm Sitting Another Ride
Due to my fear of heights, this SkyRide feels like a whole new ride by itself as sitting on the Metal Seats of the SkyRide while looking down at how far I am from the ground; sends shivers down my spine.
But after awhile, I become accustomed to the height difference and ended up sitting there normally without the need to face my fears during the Journey to the starting point of the Trails. That's why it's important to not think about the height but focus on something else to distract you while taking any rides that involves being in a position that's way higher than the ground.

I would personally prefer heading down the "Jungle Trail" as it has relatively more bends as compared to the "Dragon Trail".

Head Down @ Top Speed & Enjoy The Wind
Once you've gotten the hang of controlling the luge, heading down the Trail at Top Speed without stopping or breaking would be easier. Try putting yourself to the test by aiming to reduce the frequency of braking, you'll make this trail even more thrilling than it already is.
However, do proceed with caution and only proceed at high speed when you're really sure that you have mastered the arts of playing the luge.
How To Ride On The Luge

Before Embarking on Your Journey through the two different trails. It is compulsory to check whether your brakes are working before leaving.
At The Starting Point
Preparing To Embark On Our Trail
The Skyline Luge's Staff will ensure proper checks are done before letting you leave the starting point.
When riding the Luge, the maximum speed is achieved when the handles are pushed forward till the minimal mark of the green indicator at the center of the luge near the handle. If you were to push the luge totally forward, the luge will be at its neutral position and there will not be any movement at all.
By pulling the handle bar towards you, this triggers the brakes that is of utmost importance to ensure maximum safety during your journey through the trails.
