I've tried out a couple of truly wireless earphones and I've encountered the same issue of inaudibility when communicating over them under windy conditions. Therefore, it is superbly commendable that Plantronics added such an awesome WindSmart Technology" feature into this pair of earphones, which provides users with excellent noise cancellation on their voices; crisp and clear communication on the go is made possible even under harsh (windy) and noisy environments.

Plantronics BackBeat Pro 5100, available in black, comes with a reflective finish to the main button, surrounded by a matt black plastic main body. It is embossed with the official ‘PLT’ logo and comes with a set of black silicone earbuds, allowing you to easily choose the right suitable fit for your ear so that it seals perfectly. The earbuds are compact, unobtrusive and subtle, providing the maximum comfort and tight fit within your ears. This means that there is no bulky body jutting out and unwanted dangling components that might become a hindrance when working out with it; minimizing the probability of the earbuds being dislodged from your ears - less prone to losing them. The charging case is light, pocketable, and it's made out of sturdy plastic that opens only when the push button is depressed; minimizing the risk of losing the earbuds as compared to magnetic cases.

With advances in technologies, there is an increasing trend of consumers prefer utilizing USB-C and wireless charging. In my personal opinion, I feel that it isn't a necessary feature to have as an ordinary micro-USB function pretty well on its own for charging. Most portable chargers and phones out there that utilizes micro-USB, which makes it all the more convenient to bring it out as I'll be able to charge multiple devices with just one cable as of now. I do not deny that it is definitely good to have wireless charging as an added feature but the technology as of now is too inefficient which is why we're better off using conventional cables instead. I understand that some of you guys out there may not agree with me, but I believe the earbuds serve its purpose well and the sound quality should be the major weighing factor on whether one should purchase the product instead.
